OPEN CALL! INTERESTED IN PRESENTING? SUBMIT A PROPOSAL FOR A POSTER OR ROUNDTABLE! SUBMISSIONS DUE APRIL 26TH!
- Who can submit for the CNAIR open call? We welcome submissions from faculty, students, staff, and community members at Northwestern University or in the Chicagoland area. Individuals at other Midwestern institutions or community organizations are encouraged to submit!
- Is there a topic or theme for posters or roundtables? Your topic should align with Native American and Indigenous Studies (NAIS), Indigenous partnered projects, or work that aligns with Indigenous methods. Topics do not necessarily need to fit with the symposium theme but should align with CNAIR mission and values. CNAIR is an interdisciplinary space and are open to a wide range of project work, including scholarship and community project work.
- When will I hear confirmation? We will be reviewing all submissions on a rolling basis and you should hear back from us shortly after submission. Presenters will be contacted by CNAIR staff with additional presentation and symposium logistics. We will also email presenters with a request to provide a high quality headshot for our program website.
- How will the sessions work? Presenters will be assigned to one time slot.Poster presentations, roundtables, and mini-presentations will occur concurrently on:
- Thursday, May 16th, 1:30 PM - 2:30 PM
- Friday, May 17th, 11 AM - 12 PM.
