Brown Bag Series
Fall 2020
The Center for Native American and Indigenous Research is delighted to present the brown bag series. The series is open to all students, faculty, staff, and community. This series is an opportunity to come and create a network, learn from one another, and exchange new and innovative ideas. Each meeting is an hour long and will be comprised of different topics and presenters. This series will be held virtually.
- Friday, October 9, 12-1 PM CST, with Spanish & Portuguese professor Caroline Egan on her work about Indigenous languages and literatures in Latin America and their relation to early modern ideas about conversion, translation, and difference.
- Friday, October 30, 12-1 PM CST, with CNAIR Faculty Fellow Doug Kiel.
- Friday, December 4, 12- 1PM CST, with History professor Michaela Kleber on her work about gender and sexuality, Indigenous families, and empire.
